Amara Raja Q2 profit up 6% to Rs 100 cr, revenue jumps 32%

Lead acid storage battery manufacturer Amara Raja Batteries on Tuesday reported a 6 percent jump in net profit at Rs 100.30 crore in July-September quarter led by higher sales despite rise in operating expenses and tax cost. Profit in the year-ago period was Rs 94.58 crore.
